Das Gewand/The Robe

Man könnte das Gewand als eine Art Lebensgewand verstehen, welches die Seelenlandschaft eines Menschen symbolisiert, variierend in Länge, Farbe und Leuchtkraft. Das Porträt seines/ihres Lebensweges und der erworbenen Charaktereigenschaften.

'Selbstreflexion' - so hat es eine Ausstellungsbesucherin auf den Punkt gebracht.

One may consider the robe to be kind of a 'robe of life' - symbolizing a human's soul-landscape, varying in length, colour and brightness. It is a portrayal of his/her journey through life and also of the acquired character traits.

'Self-reflection' is the way a beholder summarized the message of this picture.
